Charcoal filter
If the rangehood is connected for
recirculation (see "Installation"), a Miele
NoSmell active charcoal filter must be
inserted in addition to the grease filter.

Remove the grease filters.
^ Push the cover for the charcoal filter
duct slightly to the right and then
lower it to remove.
^
Unwrap the charcoal filter from its
packaging.
^ Place the charcoal filter in its duct
and push it up against the air outlet
grille.
^ Refit the cover and the grease filters.
Replace the charcoal filter when it no
longer absorbs kitchen odours
effectively. It should, however, be
replaced at least every six months.
^
Used charcoal filters can be
disposed of with the normal
household waste.
