Changing a halogen lamp

Ensure the rangehood is
disconnected from the electricity
supply. To do this:
–
switch off at the wall socket and
remove the plug, or
–
remove the mains fuse, or
–
remove the screw-out fuse (in
countries where this is applicable).

Exercise caution when changing
halogen lamps. They get very hot
during use and remain hot for some
time after being switched off.
Let them cool down before you
change them.

Remove the grease filters.

Slightly loosen the lamp's fastening
screw.

Slide the screw and the lamp down.
^ Tighten the screw again.
^
Turn the halogen lamp anti-clockwise
and pull it out.
Replace it with a lamp of the same
type: GU/GZ 10, 230 V, 50W.

Refit the lamp by reversing the steps
shown above. Please observe the
manufacturer's instructions.

Refit the grease filters.
