Depending on the intensity of the
cooking vapours, levels 1-3 are usually

Intensive Setting
For short periods of cooking food with
intensive vapours and a strong aroma,
e.g. when searing meat, you may wish
to select the Intensive Setting "IS".
The cooker hood will automatically
revert to the previously selected power
level after 10 minutes.
It is advisable to run the fan for a few
minutes after cooking is finished to
neutralise any lingering odours in the
air, whether you are using air extraction
or recirculation mode.
^
To switch the fan off, close the vapour
canopy.
When the vapour canopy is opened
again, the fan automatically switches on
at the last selected power level.
If the Intensive Setting "IS" was last
selected, the fan will not switch on
automatically.
Switching on the lighting
The hob lighting can be switched on
and off independently of the fan.
^ To switch on, press the n button.
^ To switch off, press the n button
again,
or
^ close the vapour canopy.
When the vapour canopy is opened
again, the lighting will switch on
automatically.
In the event of a power cut the fan
and the lighting will switch off
automatically. Once power has been
restored to the appliance these can
be switched back on again by
pressing the "s" button or the "n"
button as required.
