Changing a light bulb
The bulbs should be replaced with the
following:
Bulb type .............................. LED, GU10
Power ............................................... 3W
Replacement bulbs are available from
Miele.
 Turn off the blower and the lighting.
 Remove the grease filters.
 Disconnect the hood from the
electrical supply before replacing the
bulbs (see “IMPORTANT SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS”).
 While the light is turned on, the
bulbs become very hot.
Allow the bulbs to cool down for a
few minutes before changing them.
 Loosen the lamp's securing screw a
little.
 Slide the screw and the lamp
downwards.
 Then tighten the screw again.
 Turn the bulb counter-clockwise and
pull it out.
 Install the new bulb. Observe the
manufacturer's instructions.
 Slightly loosen the screw again, push
the light upwards, and tighten the
screw.
 Reinstall the grease filters.
