Turning off the blower
Press the On/Off control on the
ventilation hood or the control on
the remote control repeatedly until
the blower switches off.
The blower switches off and the canopy
retracts.
If the ventilation hood is switched on
again while the canopy is retracting, the
canopy will come back out again and
then may retract again slightly.
If this happens, you must switch the
ventilation hood off and wait until the
canopy has completely retracted.
The next time you switch on the
ventilation hood, the canopy will extend
again correctly.
Dimming/switching the
overhead lighting on/off
The cooktop lighting can be switched
on and off and dimmed regardless of
whether the canopy is extended or
retracted.
Press the lighting control briefly to
switch it on or off.
The lighting will switch on at maximum
brightness.
With the lighting switched on, press
and hold the lighting control. The
brightness will gradually dim until you
release the control.
To increase the brightness, press and
hold the lighting control again until
the desired level has been reached
and then release it.
Power management
The ventilation hood is equipped with a
power management system. Power
management helps to save energy. It
ensures that the blower power level is
reduced automatically. It is used for
switching off the lighting, reducing the
blower power level, and retracting the
canopy automatically when the
ventilation hood is no longer being
used.
- If the booster level is selected, the
blower automatically switches to
level 3 after 5minutes.
- If the ventilation hood is switched on
but has not been used for 2hours,
the power will be reduced by one
level at a time in 30-minute stages
until the blower finally switches off.
The canopy retracts.
- The overhead lighting will switch off
automatically after 12hours.
You can deactivate power
management.
Keep in mind that this may increase
energy consumption.
