148
To better maintain your appli-
ance avoid the following:
To avoid damaging surfaces when
cleaning, do not use:
– Cleaners containing soda, ammonia,
thinners, or chlorides
– Descaling agents
– Abrasive cleaning agents (e.g., pow-
der or cream cleansers, pumice
stones)
– Solvent-based cleaners
– Stainless steel cleaners
– Dishwasher cleaners
– Ceramic cooktop cleaners
– Hard, abrasive brushes or sponges
(e.g. pot scrubbers or scrub sponges,
sponges which have previously been
used with abrasive cleaning agents)
– Eraser sponges
– Sharp metal scrapers
– Steel wool
– Stainless steel spiral pads
– Spot cleaners
– Oven sprays
Glass cleaners may be used to clean
the exterior. However do not allow
them to sit or "puddle", this can cause
damage to the surface. Remove the
cleaner promptly.
Appliance front
If soiling is not removed promptly, it
may become impossible to remove,
and surfaces can become discolored
or change their appearance.
Remove soiling immediately.
Clean the front with a solution of
warm water and washing-up liquid
applied with a clean sponge or cloth.
A clean, damp microfiber cloth with-
out cleaning agent can also be used.
After cleaning dry the front of the ap-
pliance with a soft cloth.
