Automatic programs
Follow the instructions on the display.
Convection Roast
This operating mode is suitable for
roasting meat and poultry that needs to
be well browned.
Because the blower distributes the heat
around the oven compartment straight
away, you can use a lower temperature
than you would with the Surroundoper-
ating mode.
Surround
Use this operating mode for cooking
traditional recipes. If using an older
recipe or cookbook, set the oven tem-
perature 50°F (10°C) lower than that
recommended. This will not change the
cooking duration.
Use the Bakeoperating mode towards
the end of the cooking duration to
brown the base of the food.
Do not use the Intensiveoperating
mode for roasting as the juices will be-
come too dark.
