Start screen
The steam oven is set at the factory for
the main menu to appear when the
steam oven is turned on. You can
change this default setting so that, for
instance, the operating modes or
MyMiele settings appear on the start
screen (see “MyMiele”).
This new start screen will then appear
when the steam oven is next turned on.
Select the Backsensor button or fol-
low the path in the header to get to
the main menu.
Display
Brightness
The display brightness is represented
by a segment bar.

Minimum brightness
Color scheme
Choose between a light or dark color
scheme for the display.
- Bright
The display has a light background
with dark characters.
- Dark
The display has a dark background
with light characters.
QuickTouch
Select how the sensor buttons and the
motion sensor should respond when
the steam oven is turned off:
- On
If you have also selected the Time|
Display| On or Night dimming setting,
the sensor buttons and the motion
sensor will also respond when the
steam oven is turned off.
- Off
Regardless of whether Time| Display
is set, the sensor buttons and the
motion sensor only respond when the
steam oven is turned on, as well as
for a certain amount of time after
turning it off.
