Problem Possible cause and solution
The vacuum-sealing
process is canceled af-
ter 5seconds. A signal
sounds and the indi-
cator light lights up red.
The glass lid is not sitting evenly. There is an object,
such as the edge of a bag or some soiling, on the
surface of the chamber seal.
 Remove the obstruction and/or the soiling.
 Close the glass lid.
 Press lightly on the black triangle on the glass lid
for approx. 5seconds.
The chamber seal is not installed correctly.
 Press the chamber seal in all the way round to
make sure it is installed evenly.
The chamber seal is damaged, e.g., cracks can be
seen.
 Contact Customer Service to have it replaced.
Abrasion marks on the
top edge of the front
panel.
Installing or removing an appliance above the drawer
has caused abrasion marks.
 Carefully remove the abrasion marks by rubbing
the top edge with the abrasive side of a standard
scouring pad.
