Changing the door hinging
The refrigeration appliance is supplied
with left-hand hinging. If right-hand
hinging is required, the hinges can be
changed.
Do not change the hinging if this refri-
geration appliance is going to be in-
stalled side-by-side with another refri-
geration appliance.
Danger of injury and damage
when changing the door hinging.
There is an increased danger of in-
jury and damage if the refrigeration
appliance is installed by a single per-
son.
Always change the door hinging with
the help of a second person.
If the door seal is damaged or has
slipped out of its groove, the appli-
ance door may not close properly
and cooling performance will be re-
duced. Condensate will build up in
the interior cabinet and this can
cause a build-up of ice.
Do not damage the door seal and
ensure it does not slip out of its
groove.
Preparation
To change the door hinging, you will
need the following tools:
Place a suitable cover on the floor in
front of the appliance to protect the
appliance door and your floor from
damage.
Removing the top covers
Close the appliance door.
Remove cover by sliding it for-
wards from the back and then lifting it
off.
Remove cover by pulling it up-
wards.
Danger of injury when removing
the appliance door.
The appliance door is not secure
once the hinge plate has been re-
moved.
The door must be held by a second
person.
