The following trouble-shooting guide can be used to help address minor problems
without a service call, HOWEVER, it is important to note that:

Repairs should only be performed by Miele Customer Service. Work
performed by unqualified persons can place the user at considerable risk of
harm.
To help avoid unnecessary service calls, please be sure to check first whether an
error message is due to operator error.
To do so:

Turn the program selector to the 12 o'clock position f. The error message is
erased.
^
Press the "ON/OFF" button to switch off the machine.
^ Turn the machine back on and re-start the program.
^ If the error occurs again and cannot be corrected, contact Miele Customer Ser-
vice for advice.
^ You will need to provide the error code ( "F...") .
Error Cause Solution
The washer-disinfector
will not start.
The door is not properly
closed.
Close the door firmly.
The machine is not
plugged in.
Plug in the power cord.
The fuse is blown or the
circuit breaker has tripped.
Set the fuse
(see the rating plate for
minimum fuse ratings).
The machine is not turned
on.
Press the "ON/OFF" button
and select a program.
The machine is not
ready for operation.
Error message: F04-F
17, F20-F--
