Installing and removing the
oven
For safety reasons, only use the oven
when it has been fully installed.
The oven requires a sufficient supply
of cool air for efficient operation. The
required supply of cool air must not
be excessively heated by other heat
sources (e.g., wood burning stoves).
The following must be observed
when installing the appliance:
Make sure that the shelf that the
oven sits on does not touch the wall.
Do not install heat insulation strips
on the side walls of the cabinet
carcase.
Do not open the door when the oven
is on the floor. This could damage
the door.
Do not open the door until the oven
has been installed inside the housing
unit.
Securing the oven in the cabinet
niche
Connect the oven to the power
supply.
Do not carry the oven by the door
handle. This could damage the door.
Use the handles on each side of the
housing to carry the appliance.
It is a good idea to remove the door
(see “Cleaning and care of the oven –
Removing the door”) and the
accessories before installing the
appliance. The oven is then easier to
push into the cabinet carcase and you
do not run the risk of lifting it by the
door handle.
Push the oven into the cabinet niche
and align it in the center of the
cabinet niche.
Open the door if you have not
removed it.
Insert the mounting aid into the hole
in the front frame.
