Lowering the Browning /
Broiling element
If the oven interior is very dirty, the
Browning / Broiling element can be
lowered. It is recommended to clean
the oven interior with a damp sponge
regularly.
Burn hazard!
Make sure the heating elements are
turned off and allowed to cool
completely.
Unscrew the nut and lower the
Browning / Broiling element.
Use caution not to damage the
Browning / Broiling element.
Do not use force to lower the
Browning / Broiling element.
Carefully lower the Browning /
Broiling element.
The cover at the top of the oven
cavity can be damaged.
Do not use the hard side of a dish
sponge to clean the cover.
Clean the oven interior with a damp
cloth or sponge.
After cleaning, raise the Browning /
Broiling element gently back up
again. Refit the nut and tighten to
secure the element back in position.
