Preparing the appliance for
cleaning
 Switch the appliance off.
The display goes out and cooling is
turned off.
If this does not happen, then the safety
lock is still activated (see “Selecting ad-
ditional settings - Activating/deactivat-
ing the lock”).
 Unplug the appliance or trip the cir-
cuit breaker.
 Take any food out of the appliance
and store it in a cool place.
 Remove the door shelf/bottle shelf
from the door.
 Take out all other removable parts for
cleaning.
Adjustable shelf
 Place the shelf on a worktop covered
with a soft material (e.g., a tea towel).
 Remove the trim:
1. Pull the stainless steel strip off the
shelf beginning at one side.
2. Then pull the protective strip off.
 After cleaning the shelf reattach the
trim to the adjustable shelf.
