Problems with the ice cube maker
Problem Cause and remedy
The ice maker is not
producing any ice
cubes.
The refrigeration appliance and the ice maker are not
switched on.
 Switch the refrigeration appliance and the ice
maker on.
 Check whether the water filter is inserted correctly.
The mains water connection has not been installed.
 Make sure that the mains water connection has
been installed correctly.
The water supply is not open or has not been vented.
 Open the water supply.
 Check whether the water supply has been vented.
There is a kink in the water hose.
 Check the water hose and replace it if necessary.
The temperature in the freezer zone is too high.
 Select a lower temperature.
The appliance door has been opened too frequently,
causing the compressor to turn on more often and
the ice maker has iced up.
 Only open the appliance door when necessary and
for as short a time as possible.
The water connection pressure is too low.
 Check that the water connection is between
200kPa and 800kPa (2bar and 8bar).
 Check whether an incorrect valve has been in-
stalled, making the pressure too low.
Remember that it can take up to 10hours to pro-
duce the first ice cubes.
