SwitchingHolidaymode on
or off
Holidaymode is useful when you go on
holiday, for example, if you do not wish
to switch off the fridge zone completely
or do not need a high degree of cooling.
Food which does not go off quickly can
be stored in the appliance for some
time at this moderate fridge zone tem-
perature and energy consumption is
lower than in normal operation.
This also prevents the build-up of
odours and mould which can occur if
the fridge zone is switched off and the
appliance door is closed.
The fridge zone is regulated at a tem-
perature of 14°C, remaining in opera-
tion whilst also saving energy.
If the SuperCool function is switched
on, this will be switched off when Holi-
day mode is selected.
Please note that the temperature in
the dry compartment in the
MasterFresh zone also increases ac-
cordingly when Holidaymode is
switched on.
The freezer zone remains switched on
at the previously set temperature and
the SuperFreeze function can still be
selected.
Ice production is deactivated for as
long as Holidaymode is switched on.
 Health risk caused by decom-
posing food.
The usability and quality of food in
the fridge zone may deteriorate if the
temperature remains above 4°C for
an extended period.
Only ever switch on theHoliday mode
for a limited period.
Do not store any temperature-sensit-
ive food which goes off easily, such
as fruit, vegetables, fish, meat and
dairy products, during this time.
Switching the Holiday modeon
 In Settings mode, use the
and sensor controls to selectHoli-
day and selectOK to confirm your se-
lection.
 Use the and sensor controls to
select On and select OK to confirm
your selection.
14°C is now displayed on the temper-
ature display for the fridge zone and the
interior lighting in the fridge zone will go
out.
The symbol will appear on the tem-
perature display for the fridge zone.
