Door alarm
The appliance is fitted with a warning
system to avoid increased energy
consumption and food becoming warm
if the door is left open.
The alarm will sound if the door is left
open for a long time. The alarm
symbol lights up in the display.
The amount of time until the door alarm
is triggered depends on the setting
selected and can be either 2minutes
(factory default) or 4minutes. However,
the door alarm can also be turned off
(see “Selecting further settings” –
“Audible signals”).
As soon as the door is closed, the
alarm stops sounding and the alarm
symbol  disappears from the display.
If the audible signal does not sound in
the event of a door alarm, then the
audible signal has been switched off
in settings mode (see “Selecting
further settings” – “Audible signals”).
Switching the door alarm off early
If the noise disturbs you, you can
switch the alarm off if you wish.
 Touch the sensor for switching off the
door alarm.
The alarm sound will stop.
The alarm symbol will continue to be
lit up until the door is closed.
