Problem Cause and remedy
 Only open the appliance door when necessary and
for as short a time as possible.
The temperature in the freezer section is too high.
 Select a lower temperature.
The water connection pressure is too low.
 Check that the water connection pressure is
between 150kPa and 600kPa (1.5bar and 6bar).
Remember that it can take up to 24hours to pro-
duce the first ice cubes.
The ice cubes taste or
smell odd.
The ice cube maker is in continuous use and should
be cleaned regularly.
 Rinse the ice cube maker and inlet pipe regularly.
The 1st three batches of ice should be thrown
away and not consumed.
The ice cube maker is rarely used. Ice cubes that are
stored for a long time can absorb the taste and smell
of other items.
 Empty the ice cube drawer if you are not going to
use the ice cube maker for a long period of time.
 Rinse the ice cube maker and inlet pipe regularly.

Unwrapped food is stored in the freezer. Ice can ab-
sorb the taste and smell of unwrapped food.
 Only store food which is packaged in the freezer
section.
