Switching Sabbath mode on/off
The appliance has a Sabbath mode to
support the observance of religious
customs.
The following are switched off:
– the interior lighting when the door is
opened,
– all acoustic and visual signals,
– the temperature display,
– the DynaCool, SuperCool,
SuperFreeze, Party mode and
Holiday mode functions (if previously
selected),
– the minute minder (if switched on
previously).
In addition, you cannot select any
settings in Settings mode.
The Sabbath mode will switch itself off
automatically after approx. 120hours.
Ensure that the appliance doors are
properly closed, as visual and
acoustic alarms are switched off.
Health risk due to consumption
of spoiled food!
As a possible power outage during
Sabbath mode is not displayed,
frozen food can thaw or defrost. This
shortens the shelf life of the food.
Check whether the frozen food has
started to defrost. If it has, check
that the food is safe to use and if it
is, use it as soon as possible or cook
it before freezing it again.
