Messages in the display
Message Possible cause and remedy
lights up in the
display, the appliance
does not get cold even
though the controls and
the interior lighting are
working.
Demo mode is switched on.
 Switch Demo mode off (see “Selecting further
settings – Switching Demo mode off”).
Nothing is visible in the
display. The display is
dark.
Energy-saving mode is switched on. If the appliance
has not been operated for a while (approx.
10minutes), the display switches off.
 Touch the display.
The last display will appear.
Sabbath mode is switched on. The interior lighting is
switched off and the appliance is cooling.
 Touch the display.
will light up white in the display (see “Selecting
further settings – Switching Sabbath mode on/off”).
lights up in the
display and the
appliance cannot be
operated.
The safety lock is switched on.
 Deactivate the safety lock temporarily or switch it
off completely (see “Selecting further settings -
Activating or deactivating the safety lock”).

refrigerator temperature
display and an audible
tone sounds.
The Reminder to replace charcoal filter setting has
been activated. This is the reminder to change the
Active AirClean charcoal filters.
 Confirm that the filters have been replaced by
touching in the display, and replace the
charcoal filters in the holder (see “Cleaning and
care - Replacing the charcoal filters”).


lights up yellow in
the temperature display
for the refrigerator
section and/or the
freezer section and an
alarm sounds.
The door alarm has been activated (also see
“Temperature and door alarm”).
 Touch

in the display.
The alarm message is confirmed and the warning
tone stops.
The current temperature is shown again in the display.
 Close the relevant appliance door.
The alarm will stop.
