Temperature and door alarm

You can exit the flashing temperature
display early:
Touch the temperature display for the
freezer section.
The flashing, warmest temperature
displayed will disappear. The display
will revert to showing the current
temperature in the freezer.
Door alarm
The appliance is fitted with a warning
system to avoid increased energy
consumption and food becoming warm
if the doors are left open.
If an appliance door is left open for a
longer period of time,
will light up
yellow in the relevant temperature
display. An alarm will sound four times.
If the cause of the alarm is not rectified
and the alarm is not switched off early,
the alarm will sound approx. every
3minutes.
The amount of time until the door alarm
is triggered depends on the setting
selected (factory default setting =
2minutes). The door alarm can also be
switched off (see “Selecting further
settings – Setting the volume/Switching
alarms and audible tones on/off”).
The alarm will stop and
will go out
in the display as soon as the door is
closed.
The door alarm is only displayed on
the start screen.
When you are in Settings mode, the
door alarm is automatically supressed.
No symbol will be displayed and no
alarm will sound.
If no alarm tone sounds in the event of
a door alarm, the alarm has been
switched off in Settings mode (see
“Selecting further settings – Setting
the volume/Switching alarms and
audible tones on/off”).
Switching the door alarm off early
You can switch the alarm off early if you
wish.

The current temperature is shown in the
display. The alarm will stop.
