Indication in the display
Problem Possible cause Solution
The power outage t
indicator is on and
the temperature
indicator for the
freezer section
flashes.
The temperature in the
appliance rose too much in
the past days or hours
because of a power
outage.
The appliance will go back
to the last temperature
setting when the power is
back on.
^ Touch the Alarm button.
Now the highest
temperature that occurred
in the freezer section during
the power outage is
displayed.
The highest temperature will
appear in the display for
approx. 1 minute. Then the
display will revert to the
actual current temperature
in the freezer section.
^ Depending on the
temperature, check to
see whether the food in
the freezer thawed
partially or completely.
Food that thawed
(whether partially or
completely) must not be
re-frozen until it has been
thoroughly cooked.
^ Touch the Alarm button
again.
The power outage t
indicator goes out.
The display shows
"F1" to "F5".
The appliance has a fault.
