Installation Information Climate class Niche floor The appliance is designed for use within a certain climate range (room temperature range) and should not be used outside this range. The climate range is specified on the data plate inside the appliance. To ensure that the appliance is installed safely and to assure all the functions, the floor of the niche where the appliance is to be installed must be even and horizontal.
Installation Information Proper ventilation Use only the matching base cover with the ventilation slits! If there is insufficient ventilation, the compressor will run more often and over a longer period of time. This results in higher energy consumption and a higher compressor temperature which can damage the compressor. This appliance does not require ventilation openings in the surrounding cabinetry. Proper ventilation is ensured though the ventilation slits at the base of the appliance.

Make sure that the seal is properly positioned in the gap.

Disconnect the appliance from the power supply before connecting it to the water supply. The appliance must be connected to a cold water line that: – is directly connected to the fresh water supply in order to ensure a circulation of the water in the cold water line. Avoid using a water line in which the water is allowed to pool.
Plumbing Connecting the water supply Before any installation or maintenance work is performed be sure the appliance is disconnected from the electrical supply. The water connection can be found at the front of the appliance: ^ Lay the water line to the appropriate location at the back of the appliance. ^ At the same time feed the electrical cord from the back of the appliance out of the installation niche. ^ Gently push the appliance into the desired location.
