Door alarm

The refrigeration appliance is fitted with
a warning system to prevent energy be-
ing wasted and food becoming warm if
the appliance door is left open.
An alarm will sound if the door is left
open for too long. The alarm symbol
will light up.
The amount of time until the door alarm
is triggered depends on the setting se-
lected and can be either 2minutes (fac-
tory default) or 4minutes. However, the
door alarm can also be turned off (see
“Selecting additional settings – Audible
signals”).
As soon as the door is closed, the
alarm stops sounding and the alarm
symbol disappears from the display.
If no alarm sounds even though there
is a door alarm, the alarm has been
turned off in settings mode (see “Se-
lecting additional settings – Audible
signals”).
Cancelling the door alarm
If the alarm is disturbing you, it can be
switched off.
 Touch the sensor to turn off the door
alarm.
The alarm will stop.
The alarm symbolwill continue to be
displayed until the door is closed.
