Switching the wine condition-
ing unit on
 Open the appliance door.
 Switch the wine conditioning unit on
by pressing the On/Off switch.
The wine conditioning unit will start to
cool and the interior lighting will come
on when the appliance door is opened.
Miele will appear, followed by the main
screen on the wine conditioning unit
display:

 Switch the wine conditioning unit off
by pressing the On/Off switch.
The cooling and interior lighting are
switched off.
Please note: the wine conditioning
unit is not disconnected from the
power supply when it is switched off
with the On/Off switch.
Switching off for longer peri-
ods of time
If the wine conditioning unit is not going
to be used for a longer period of time:
 Switch the wine conditioning unit off.
 Unplug the appliance or switch off
the breaker.
 Clean the wine conditioning unit.
 Leave the door to the wine condition-
ing unit ajar to enable air to circulate
and to avoid odors building up inside
it.
If, during a long absence, the wine
conditioning unit is switched off but
not cleaned and the door left shut,
there is a risk of bacteria building up
inside the appliance.
