A damaged appliance could be dangerous. Check the appliance for
visible signs of damage. Do not use the appliance if it is damaged.
If the electrical connection cable is faulty, it must only be replaced
by a Miele authorised technician to protect the user from danger.
Operating a damaged appliance can result in microwave leakage
and present a hazard to the user. Do not use the appliance if
– the appliance door is warped.
– the door hinges are loose.
– holes or cracks are visible in the casing, the door or the oven in-
terior walls.
Any contact with live connections or tampering with the electrical
or mechanical components of the microwave oven will endanger
your safety and may lead to appliance malfunctions. Do not open the
appliance housing under any circumstances.
Before connecting the appliance to the mains supply, ensure that the
connection data on the data plate (voltage and frequency) match the
mains electricity supply. This data must correspond in order to avoid the
risk of damage to the appliance. Compare this before connecting the ap-
pliance to the mains. Consult a qualified electrician if in any doubt.
Multi-socket adapters and extension leads do not guarantee the

connect the appliance to the mains.
The electrical safety of this microwave oven can only be guaran-

to avoid the risk of damage or electric shock. If in any doubt, please
have the electrical installation tested by a qualified electrician.
Do not situate the appliance too close to an adjacent furniture
