Appliance front
Soiling that is left too long might be-
come impossible to remove and
could cause the surfaces to alter or
discolour.
Remove any soiling on the front of
the appliance straight away.
Clean the appliance front with a clean
soft sponge and a solution of warm wa-
ter and washing-up liquid. After clean-
ing, wipe dry using a soft cloth.
A clean, damp microfibre cloth without
cleaning agent can also be used.
All surfaces are susceptible to
scratching. Scratches on glass can in
some circumstances lead to break-
age.
Contact with unsuitable cleaning
agents can alter or discolour the ex-
ternal surfaces.
Please observe the cleaning instruc-
tions.
To avoid damaging the surfaces of
the appliance, do not use:
- detergents containing soda, ammo-
nia, acids or chlorides
- cleaning agents containing descaling
agents
- abrasive cleaning agents, e.g. scour-
ing powder, scouring liquid, or
pumice stones
- cleaning agents containing solvents
- stainless steel cleaning agents
- dishwasher cleaner
- oven sprays
- glass cleaning agents
- hard, abrasive sponges and brushes,
e.g. pot scourers
- eraser stain remover blocks
- sharp metal scrapers
To help prevent re-soiling, a condition-
ing agent for stainless steel (available
from the Miele Customer Service De-
partment) can be used. Use a soft cloth
to apply sparingly with an even pres-
sure.
