Most Miele rangehoods have 10 layer stain-
less steel grease lters. The outer layer and
frame are made from high quality stainless
steel. Cleaning in a dishwasher does not
aect the appearance of these lters so you
know your Miele rangehood will keep its
good looks for a long time.

The automatic run-on function
can be used to ensure that
vapours and odours are
thoroughly removed from the kitchen after
cooking. The fan can be set to continue
running for 5 or 15 minutes after cooking
has nished before switching itself o
automatically.

Miele rangehoods for recircula-
tion mode are designed to use
a NoSmell active charcoal lter
in addition to the grease lter.
This Miele lter not only binds unpleasant
odours, it also neutralises them. The
advantage; unlike on simpler systems, when
you switch the rangehood on again the day
after cooking something with a strong smell,
such as sh, you won't notice a thing.

Halogen lights on Miele cooker hoods
are designed to illuminate the cooktop with
warm and even lighting, to ensure a good
view on what you are cooking. They are also
incredibly easy to look after and the light-
bulb is quick and easy to replace.

A red LED will light up to
remind you to clean the grease
lter or change the active charcoal lter as
soon as possible. The length of time before
this reminder appears can be set to suit the
amount of cooking you do. The grease lter
indicator light can be set to come on after
20, 30, 40 or 50 operating hours, and the
charcoal lter replacement reminder after
120, 180 or 240 hours.
