Interior lighting
Problem Possible cause Remedy
The LED lighting on
all of the shelves is
not working.
To avoid overheating, the
lighting switches itself off
automatically after approx.
15 minutes if the door is left
open.

Close the appliance door.
When the door is opened
again, the interior lighting
will come on.
The LED lighting on the
stainless steel trim is faulty.

Replace the stainless
steel trim with LED
lighting.
It is available from Miele
or from your Miele dealer.
Do not remove the
lighting cover. If the
cover is damaged or
needs to be removed
due to damage, exercise
caution. There are lasers
in the lighting (laser
beam class 1M) which
you should avoid looking
at directly. Do not use
optical instruments
(magnifying glass or
similar) to look at the
lighting either.
