The indicator can only be reset by
pressing the reset button after the
light has come on. Pressing the but‐
ton at any other time will have no ef‐
fect.
When to change the battery in the ra‐

Approximately every 18 months. One 3

ttery (CR 2032) is required.
The vacuum cleaner can still be used
when the batter
y has run out or if
there is no battery fitted.
 To do so, switch the vacuum cleaner
on
using the On/Off foot control .
The Standby indicator  on the va‐
cuum cleaner will light up yellow.
 Press the restart button on the vacu‐
um cleaner
(dia. 38).
The vacuum cleaner can continue to be
used in this way, but only at maximum
power
.

 Open the cover t
o the battery com‐
partment using a screwdriver.
 Replace the battery with a new one,
making
sure the polarity is correct.
 Replace the cover and tighten the
s
crew.
 Dispose of the old battery in a desig‐
nat
ed recycling bin for batteries.
When to change the thread lifters
The thread lifters on the suction inlet to
the floorhead can be r
eplaced. Check
them from time to time and replace
them if the pile has worn down.
How to replace the thread lifters
(dia. 40)
 Use a suitable screwdriver to remove
the thr
ead lifters from the slots.
 Fit new thread lifters.
Upholstery nozzle SPD 10 (depend‐
ing on model) (dia. 41)
 Disengage the thread lifter unit either
side of the upholstery nozzle using a
coin.
 Fit a new thread lift
er unit and lock
into position.
Cleaning the roller on the AllTeQ
floorhead (dia. 42)
 Release the bearing (with bayonet
fitting) using a coin.
 Press the bearing out, and remove.
 Remove the roll
er.
 Remove any threads and hair, replace
the r
oller and refit the bearing, lo‐
cking it back into position.

Cleaning and care
 Always disconnect the vacuum
cleaner fr
om the electrical supply be‐
fore cleaning it. Switch off at the wall
socket and unplug it.
