Operation Manual

This washing machine is suitable for
operating with automatic detergent
dispensing unit AWD 10.
The detergent dispensing unit and the
washing machine work together via the
Automatic detergent dispensing option.
For this to function correctly you will
need to set some settings in the
washing machine's electronics.
How automatic detergent dispensing
works
If you select automatic dispensing for a
wash programme, the washing
machine will help you by selecting the
correct detergent container and
dosage of detergent. The washing
machine calculates the amount of
detergent required, based on the
dosage set, the amount of laundry it
measures in the drum and the level of
soiling entered for the load. The correct
amount of detergent will then be
dispensed automatically.
The automatic dispensing option may
not be available for some programmes,
depending on which type of detergent
is present in the containers. For
example, if the containers are filled with
a universal powder detergent and a
liquid detergent for coloureds, it will not
be possible to activate automatic
dispensing for the Woollens
programme. This prevents woollen
garments from being damaged by
being washed with the wrong type of
detergent.
Two of the settings in the washing
machine's electronics must be set.
1) The Detergent type present in the
containers.
The following options are available:
Universal powder detergent
Liquid detergent for coloureds
Liquid detergent for delicates
Liquid detergent for delicates and
woollens
2) The Dosage of detergent for
normally soiled laundry.
Do not add any specialist detergents to
the containers, e.g. proofing agent,
detergent for outdoor wear. Dispense
these types of detergents by adding
them to the detergent dispensing
drawer.
