The following fault messages appear in the display at the end
of the programme
Fault message Possible cause Remedy
Fault F 139 /
dispenser
The automatic detergent
dispensing unit is faulty.

Call the Service Department.

Remove the dispensing unit
plug connector from the
washing machine.

You can continue to use the
washing machine without
the
dispensing unit.
Fault F 140 /
dispenser
Check Detergent
Excessive foam has built
up during washing.
Check:
– the amount of detergent
used.
– the dosage amount, if using
Automatic dispensing.
– Follow the instructions on the
manufacturer's packaging
and also take the degree of
soiling of the laundry into
account.
Hygiene information
A programme using a
temperature above 60°C
has not been run for a
long time.
In order to prevent bacteria and
unpleasant smells building up
in the machine, run a Cottons
75°C programme using powder
detergent.
