The program was interrupted and a fault message appears.
Issue Possible cause Solution*
The buzzer sounds, and
the "Drain" indicator
flashes.
"- - -". appears in the
display.
The drain is blocked. Clean the drain pump and
lint trap. See "Washer care -
Cleaning the drain pump
and lint trap".
The drain hose is too
high.
The maximum drain pump
height should not exceed 4ft.
(1.2 m).
The buzzer sounds, and
the "Intake" indicator
flashes.
"- - -". appears in the
display.
The water intake is
blocked.
Check to determine if:
–
the water valve is open.
–
the inlet hose is kinked.
The inlet hose filter is
dirty.
Clean the filter under running
water and carefully remove
any large particles.
The buzzer sounds, and
the "Intake" and "Drain"
indicators flash.
"- - -". appears in the
display.
There is a fault. Call the Miele Service
Department.
The buzzer sounds and
the "Soak" and "Rinse"
indicators flash. "- - -".
appears in the display.
There is a fault. Restart the program.
If the fault message appears
again, call Miele’s Technical
Service Department.
* To turn off the fault message: Turn off the washer using the "On/Off" button.
