SmartStart (only functional in
selected countries)
The SmartStart function is active when
the SmartGrid programmable
function is switched on.
The SmartStart function lets you define
a time period during which your
washer-dryer will start automatically
based on an external signal. The
machine will start on receipt of a signal,
e.g. from your energy supplier, that
indicates that the electricity rate is
particularly economical.
The timeframe can be defined between
30minutes and 24hours. During this
period, the washer-dryer waits for the
external signal. If no signal is sent
during the defined period, the washer-
dryer starts the programme.
Setting the timeframe
If the SmartGrid programmable
function is activated, the function of
the sensor changes. The time
display no longer shows the Delay
start period, and instead shows the
time period in which your washer-
dryer can be started automatically
(see “Programmable functions –
SmartGrid”).
The procedure for setting this is the
same as for setting the time for Delay
start.
Touch the sensor.
Set the time period you want using
the or sensor.
Touch the Start/Add laundrysensor.
appears in the time display.
