The door will not open
Problem Possible cause and remedy
The door cannot be
opened while a
programme is running.
The door is locked during a programme.
Follow the instructions in “Changing the
programme sequence – Adding laundry”.
There is still water in the drum and the washer-dryer
is unable to drain.
Clean the drain filter and the drain pump as
described in “Opening the door in the event of a
blocked drain outlet and/or power cut”.
The water level in the drum is too high.
Cancel the programme. The water will be pumped
away.
The door cannot be
opened at the end of
the programme or after
a programme
cancellation. Flashing
bars ......... are
shown in the time
display.
The door cannot be opened for safety reasons. The
temperature in the drum exceeds 55°C during
washing or 70°C during drying.
Wait until the temperature in the drum has
decreased and the door is unlocked.
The door will not
unlock. and
alternate in the time
display.
The door lock has jammed.
