Remote control
You can use the Miele@mobile App to
check the status of your washer-dryer
from anywhere and start it remotely.
You can also control it remotely via the
MobileStart programme.
You can switch off the
programmable function if you do
not want to operate the washer-dryer
with your mobile device.
If the  programmable function is not
switched on, the App can still be used
to cancel the programme.
Use the sensor to set a time period
within which you want to start the
washer-dryer and start the Delay start
function (see “Delay start/SmartStart”).
The washer-dryer will then start within
the specified timeframe when it receives
your signal. If it has not received a start
signal by the latest start time set, the
washer-dryer will start automatically.
Options
 = Off
 = On (factory default)
SmartGrid (only functional
in selected countries)
You can set your washer-dryer to start
automatically based on an external
signal within a certain time period.
If you have activated SmartGrid, the
sensor will have the new
“SmartStart” function instead of the
“Delay start” function.
Use the sensor to set a SmartStart
time period. The washer-dryer will then
start within the time period specified by
you when it receives an external signal.
If an external signal has not been
received by the latest start time set, the
washer-dryer will start automatically
(see “Delay start/SmartStart”).

 RemoteUpdate
The RemoteUpdate function is used for
updating the software in your washer-
dryer. If an update is available for your
washer-dryer, it will automatically
download it. Updates will not be
installed automatically. They must be
initiated manually.
If you do not install an update, you can
continue to use your washer-dryer in
the usual way. However, Miele
recommends installing updates.

Information about the content and
scope of an update is provided in the
