Appliance parameters
Water intake
You can programme 6 options for the
water intake.
Options
- Cold water (factory setting)
Use mains water only.
- Hot main wash
Hot water is used for the main wash
if a wash temperature over 30°C is
selected.
- Hot main wash + rinses
Hot water is used for the main wash
and for the rinses. Water consump-
tion is reduced by approx. 10% by
rinsing with hot water.
- Soft water
An external water softener is used to
produce soft water. Soap based de-
tergents can be used and limescale
build-up in the washing machine is
prevented.
- Rain water
This setting is recommended if the
water hardness level of the alternative
water supply is lower than that of the
mains water supply. Detergent sav-
ings can be made with this setting.
- Well water
This setting is recommended in order
to prevent a build-up of limescale in
the washing machine if the water
hardness level of the alternative water
supply is higher than that of the
mains water supply.
Incorrect programming can lead to
damaged fabric (e.g. if the pro-
grammed setting is for Rain water
and the intake hose is connected to
the hot water supply).
Make sure that the programmed set-
ting and the water intake are cor-
rectly matched.
Observe the requirement for water
quality in “Installation – Water in-
take”.
