4. First-Aid Measures
Eye Contact: In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
Skin Contact: Wash exposed area with soap and water. Get medical advice if irritation persists. Wash
contaminated clothing before reuse.
Inhalation: Ensure a sufficient air exchange. Move the affected person away from the contaminated area into
fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical aid.
Ingestion: Do NOT induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Rinse mouth
with water. Consult a physician.
5. Fire-Fighting Measures
Flammability of the Product: Not combustible, however dry adhesive after after losing water will burn if
ignited. Burning of dry adhesive will emit toxic fumes, including Carbon Oxides (CO and CO2), Nitrogen oxides
(NOx), Aldehydes, Acetic Acid, Hydrogen Chloride, and various Hydrocarbons.
Suitable Extinguishing Media: Shut down the electrical power and isolation all flammable materials if it may
control, Use dry chemical powder, sand and carbon dioxide to extinguishing the fire from upwind, then use water
to reduce the temperature of the container.
Protective Equipment for Fire-Fighters: Use suitable personal protective equipment (self-contained
breathing apparatus, helmet, goggles, fire resistant gloves, boots).
Remark: Stop the fire spreading. Call the fire brigade immediately. Evacuate non-essential personnel.
6. Accidental Release Measures
Personal Precautions: Provide enough ventilation. Use proper personal protective equipment as indicated in
Section 8. Avoid breathing vapors, mist or gas If present. Avoid contact skin and eyes. Spilled adhesive may be
slippery.
