Visit the Projecta website www.projectascreens.com for the following tools which will help you specify the most
appropriate projection screen.
Live Chat
Click on the Live Chat button and
have immediate access to the
Projecta multilingual support
staff. During office hours you can
start a Live Chat and get quick
answers to all your projection
and product questions.
Black Drop Calculator
A black drop is the black border
above the viewing area of a
projection screen. When a
projection screen is mounted to
the ceiling an extended black
drop will enable the viewing area
to be placed at the most
appropriate height for the
audience configuration. Use the
Black Drop Calculator to help
determine the appropriate black
drop height.
Aspect Ratio Calculator
The Aspect Ratio Calculator will
assist in determining the size of
the projection screen required. If
you have the desired aspect ratio
and the available width, this
application will calculate the
height. Also, if the height and the
aspect ratio are available, this
tool will calculate the width.
LUX Calculator
The perceived amount of light
that is reflected by the projection
screen is expressed in LUX.
Optimum image quality is
achieved when the ratio between
the LUX value of the projected
image and the wall behind it is at

The Projecta Screen Designer
assists designing the projection

this application to generate a
PDF file with the specifications
of the customised screen.
E-mail or fax the drawing to
Projecta to request a quote.

If you need help selecting a
projection screen, the Screen
Selector will guide you to the
screen required.
Projection Calculator
This tool enables the user to
draw on an extensive and
up-to-date database of
projectors. Further, the
projection calculator enables a
quick calculation of the screen
size to specify based on the the
distance from the projector to
the screen.
