B. Adjusting Brush Position
Stop engine.
After installing brushes, adjust
brush
position as follows:
1 Brush Holder
2 Brass Sleeve
3 Brush
4
Slip Ring
Loosen brush holder bracket
mounting
hardware. Move bracket
until brass sleeves are positioned
as
shown. T ighten hardware.
Reinstall side panels and cover .
If operation is still not okay , have a
qualified machine shop turn and
polish
slip rings.
