As the distance from the supply outlet increases, you must use a heavier gauge extension cord. Using extension cords with inadequately sized wire causes a serious drop in voltage, resulting in loss of power and possible tool damage. Refer to the table shown to determine the required minimum wire size.
OPERATION FEATURES Battery Compartment Clock/Preset Backup This radio can be powered using a MILWAUKEE 12, 14.4, 18 or 28 volt battery pack. Run time can be maximized using a 28 volt battery pack. The clock and station presets are maintained by two (2) double AA batteries, located on the bottom of the radio unit. Batteries are included. For your convenience, this radio has a deep discharge protection feature that stops the radio if a battery pack is running too low.
Setting Preset Stations 1. Select AM or FM band with the MODE button. 2. Tune to desired station. 3. WARNING! Batteries may leak chemicals or may explode if used incorrectly. The following care should be taken to prevent such an incident: Press the MEM button. NOTE: "MEMORY" will appear in the top right corner of the display window. 4. Use the PRESET button to select a number one (1) through 10. 5. Push the MEM button to store preset selection.
