SUBJECT: rubber spacer attached to 23-66-1779 Service Switch
23-66-1779 is now supplied with a rubber spacer attached to the
copper heat sink to reduce vibration to internal switch contacts when
installed in an Impact Wrench. The rubber spacer should be
removed before installing the switch into a 0724-20 ½” V28 Hammer-
Driver/Drill; if the rubber spacer is not removed a slight gap in the
handle halves will occur.
To reduce high vibration loads to internal switch contacts the rubber spacer is
required when installing the -1779 Switch into a 0779-20, 0779-50 or 0799-20 ½”
V28 Impact Wrench.
