Slope Operation
WARNING
Slopes are a major factor
Max 15°
related to slip and fall
accidents that can result in severe injury.
Operation on slopes requires extra caution. If
you feel uneasy on a slope, do not mow it.
Mow across slopes, not up and down. Do not
operate on slopes greater than 15°.

Sight and hold the paper edge
next to a vertical object
(such as a tree, building, or fence post).
Fold along dotted line
(15º slope shown)
Use the folded edge to determine if the lawn slope is
greater or less than 15°. Mow across slopes, not up
and down. Do not operate on slopes greater than 15°.
