How to care
Preventing nozzle dropout while power-off
Even while the power switch is OFF, the machine starts periodically and executes maintenance operation to
prevent nozzle dropout. (Supported from the firmware ver.1.70)
The settable maintenance operation is as below:
Setting the Refreshing Interval in the Sleep Mode
To prevent nozzle dropout, set the interval to discharge a little ink from the nozzle.

When <LOCAL> is displayed, press the
key.

Select the [MAINTENANCE] with the
key, and press the
key.

Select the [SLEEP MAINTE] with the
key, and press the
key.

Select the [REFRESH] with the
key, and press the key.

Set the refresh interval with the
key, and press the key.
• Setting value: OFF, 1 to 168h

Press the key to finish.
Item Description
REFRESH
The interval between each refreshing operation is set.
CLEANING
The interval between each cleaning operation and the nozzle row on
which cleaning is performed are set.
• To prevent nozzle dropout, the machine may start at the timing other than the set interval.
• When using SPC-0516 (F-200), the setting below is recommended:
REFRESH: 1h
CLEANING: 4h
