7.2.8.3. Groupingobjects
Multipleobjects ofany kindcan becombined intoagroup, andtreated asa single object.The groupobject
canbemanipulatedlikeanyotherobject,andcombinedwithotherobjectstoformalargergroup.Groupscan
alsobedisbandedintotheircomponentobjectsforindividualobjectediting(Figure7‐17).
1. Selecttheobjectsyouwishtoincludeinthegroup.YoucanusetheSelectioncursortooltosurround
andselectstrokesorobjectsorholdtheShiftKeydownasyouselectstrokesorobjectsonebyoneto
group.
2. Right‐click on any of
the objects, or on any of the control points of the bounding regions. At the
bottom of the right‐click menu selectʺGroupingʺ. Or, left‐click on the Format menu at the top of
mimioNotebook.AtthebottomoftheFormatmenu,selectʺGroupingʺ.
3. SelectʺGroupʺto
combinetheobjectsintoagroup.Thegroupwillbetreatedasasingleobjectuntilit
isungrouped.
To ungroup a group object, select the group, return to theʺGroupingʺ menu by one of the methods listed
above,andselectʺUngroupʺ.Onlythetoplevelgroupwillbedisbanded:ifthegroupcontainsothergroups
asmembers,thesubgroupswillnotbeautomaticallydisbandedaswell.
