There are two settings in the Dominant Frequency sub-dialog box.

Range of Hz to Scan:

Selects the range of frequencies from which the dominant frequency is

determined. It also sets the range of hertz that will be mapped to the upper and lower bounds

of the MIDI, General Graph, ASCII and/or DDE output.

The numbers represents hertz or

cycles per second.

The Transform Timebase:

selects the rate of scanning in seconds for the time averaged

fourier transform. A low number will give a faster response. A high number will smooth the

moment to moment variability of the output.
