The detectors preset discrimination patterns
can be edited to create custom patterns.
Method 1 to reject a specic target
ID using an actual target
In detection, a discrimination segment
will ash, indicating its position on the
discrimination scale and the targets ID number
will appear on the LCD.
Press Accept/Reject
to reject that
target ID.
The discrimination segment and
icon
will appear and the target ID number will
disappear to indicate the rejected ID.
Check that the target ID has been rejected
by detecting again. There should be no audio
response from that target ID.
Method 2 to reject a specic target
ID using + or
In detection, use + and to scroll through and
select the ID you want to modify. The ashing
segment and the target ID numbers will
indicate the selected ID.
Press Accept/Reject
to either accept
or reject that ID. The discriminated segment
and the
icon will appear (become shaded)
if rejected. The segment and the
icon will
disappear if accepted.
Accept/Reject toggles between
accepting and rejecting targets.
The all metal pattern cannot be edited.
