5. Operating Procedures

5.1 Introduction. The F3 is designed to ensure that

operation of the detector is as simple as possible. Additionally, the

F3 is extremely capable, safe to use, robust and eliminates the need

for complicated controls or lengthy training requirements. This

Chapter describes procedures for safe and effective operation of the

F3. Where these procedures contravene local Standard Operating

Procedures, local procedures should take precedence provided all

Minelab recommended safety procedures are followed.
