INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

MOUNTING THE FIXTURE (Fig. 1)
1. Shut off the power at the fuse box or circuit breaker. If
necessary, remove the existing fixture and its mounting
hardware from the ceiling.
2. Carefully remove the new fixture from the carton and
check that all parts are included as shown in the
illustration.
3. Thread the studs (E) into the pre-drilled holes of the
circular strap (A) spaced the same distance apart as the
holes in the canopy of the fixture body.
4. Attach the circular strap (A) to the outlet box with two
mounting screws (B) (size: #8-32N*L0.5”). The side of
the circular strap marked “GND” must face out.
5. Thread the glass shade (J) over the wire and onto the
metal ring (L).
6. Thread the cover (K) over the wire and onto the glass
shade (J) to cover the metal ring (L).
7. Determine the desired hanging height and if necessary,
cut the cord leaving an additional 5” to allow for
electrical connection.
8. Remove metal screw (I) from metal bushing (H) and
remove plastic screw (G) from plastic bushing (F), then
pushing the cord through the center of metal bushing
(H) and plastic bushing (F) until about 5” of the cord is
exposed.
9. Secure the cord into metal bushing (H) and plastic
bushing (F) by tightening metal screw (I) and plastic
screw (G).
10. Carefully cut and remove approximately 4” of the
outer sheathing from the cord and strip 1/2” of the wire
ends bare to expose the copper strands.
CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 2)
11. At this point, connect the electrical wires as shown in
Fig. 2, making sure that all wire connectors are
secured. If your outlet has a ground wire (green or bare
copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it.
Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to
the circular strap using the green screw provided.
COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION (Fig. 1)
12. Place the holes of canopy (C) over the studs (E), and
secure the canopy against the ceiling with knurled
knobs (D).
13. Install the light bulb (s) (included) in accordance with
the fixture’s specifications. (DO NOT EXCEED THE
MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING). (NE PAS DEPASSER
LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!)
Your installation is now complete. Return power to the
outlet box and test the fixture.
Note: Illustration (Fig.1) on this manual is for
installation purposes only. It may or may not be
identical to the fixture purchased.
