ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE (FIG. 1)

1. Shut off the power at the fuse box or circuit breaker. If

necessary, remove the old fixture from the ceiling, including

the existing mounting hardware.

2. Carefully remove the new fixture from the carton and check

that all parts are included as shown in the illustration.

3. Thread the nipple (X) into the coupling (Z) and secure with

hex nut;

4. Put the tube (Y), check ring (V), canopy (D), Flat washer (U),

lock washer (T) onto the nipple (X) in order, then secure with

hex nut (S) tightly;

5. Thread the nipple (H) into the coupling (G) and secure with

hex nut.

6. Install the bulbs in accordance with the fixture’s specifications.

(DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING!)

MAXIMALE!).

7. Insert the tube (I), check cover (J), flat washer (K), rubber

washer (L), glass diffuser (M), rubber washer (N), flat washer

(O) over the nipple (H) and secure with hex nut (R) until snug.

8. Insert the cap (P) over the nipple (H) and secure with finial

(Q).

MOUNTING THE FIXTURE

9. Attach the cross bar (B) to the outlet box using the outlet box

screws (A). The side of the cross bar marked “GND” must

face out.

10. Raise the fixture body to the outlet box.

CONNECTING THE WIRES (FIG .2)

At this point, connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 2,

making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your outlet

box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the

fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s

ground wire directly to the mounting plate using the green

screw provided. After wires are connected, tuck them carefully

inside the Junction Box.

Attach the fixture body onto the outlet box by protruding

mounting screws(C) through mounting holes on the canopy (D)

and secure with ball nuts (E).

Your installation is now complete. Return power to the outlet box

and test the fixture.
